Scouting Report from Inman Connect
We took the RealSavvy brand on the road this week to San Francisco to exhibit alongside leading real estate tech companies at Inman Connect. Below is our scouting report of companies doing awesome things in the real estate space, as well as a look into how RealSavvy is faring against competing real estate web providers.
Our Favorite Innovators
RateMyAgent -this software allows agents to collect reviews and share them on social media, their own website and in RateMyAgent’s listing reports.
RoOomy - this AR/VR technology gives agents a unique way to virtually stage a home as well as provides a way for home buyers and renters to shop for home décor pieces by placing a virtual replica of the piece in their home.
EveryScape - this tool transforms 360 content into collaborative experiences and enables new forms of social interaction, commerce, and business intelligence within 360/VR experiences.
AceableAgent - our very own Austin-based mobile CE platform is killing it by providing Realtors with a CE course that is actually fun and can be completed from the comfort of your own couch.
RealSavvy vs. The Competition
We exhibited alongside other big real estate website competitors and we’re proud to say that RealSavvy is taking the lead in collaborative home search technology. In addition to providing you with a unique Pinterest-style IDX solution that allows you to stay connected to your buyers throughout their home search with real-time collaboration and instant activity alerts, here are some key differentiators that separate RealSavvy from other real estate website solutions:
Branded, Native Mobile App: many competitors touted their solutions to be mobile optimized for a search experience on the go. However, in 2017 - this should be a given. We did not spot a NATIVE mobile app (meaning an in-house, custom-built app) that provided the clean, shareable experience that allows brokerages to compete with the likes of Redfin. Moreover, we didn’t see anyone offering a custom app icon the way we do (more on that below).
Limited Customization: we noticed a lot of clean looking TEMPLATED websites out there and after having conversations with those vendors, we learned that customizing templates is either not an option or comes at an exceedingly hefty price. We’re happy to report that our ever-evolving Content Management System allows you to easily add new pages and control the content blocks on your site without having to go through a developer or getting stuck with a rigid, cookie-cutter website.
Collaboration aside, our IDX is sexy! Not a lot has changed in the IDX landscape as far as UX/UI are concerned. Our custom-designed IDX was noticeably head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to look, feel, and shareability.
