Data Engineer

RealSavvy seeking a Data Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for handling data related tasks and fixes on a variety of platforms.

You need to have:

You’ve worked on multi-person development teams in the past and enjoy working with the right tech to deliver incredible data to your customers. You need to be an entrepreneurial/self-starter that wants to contribute and make a big impact in a growing company.

Ideally, you’ve worked with any of the following: Git, Node, Rails, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Data.

Responsibilities:

Work with individual MLS providers to meet specific data display requirements and needs

Analyze specific data needs/challenges and develop bug fixes and solutions accordingly

Recommend schema and mapping updates to optimize search and efficiency

Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize data queries

Perform routine data source maintenance and code reviews

Qualifications:

Previous 2+ years experience in understanding data processing, analysis or other related fields

Expert knowledge of at least one dynamic programing language and at least one static programing language.

Familiarity with databases such as Postgres and Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, Heroku, or MLS data

Deadline and detail-oriented

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Entrepreneurial/self-starter
